How to Install and Run Camtasia Screen Recorder

Steps to Install Camtasia Screen Recorder
We will guide you with a step by step tutorial on how to install this easy to use screen recording software. Just follow the steps mentioned below:
Step 1: Click on the following url:
https://filehippo.com/download_camtasia_studio/
This will take you to the Filehippo website from where you can download the software.
Step 2: Just click on Download Latest Version.
Step 3: Open the downloaded software. You can just click on the software directly or navigate to the software and double click.
Step 4: When you open the setup, the first screen that you would see would be that of Language selection.
Step 5: Click on Ok. Du-uh!
Step 6: Click on I accept the License Terms. Then on the Install button to start the installation procedure.
With that, the installation would begin.
Stay put.
Step 7: Click on Finish once the installation concludes.
How to Run Camtasia
Once Camtasia has been installed, it is time to run it.
Step 8: Just open Camtasia. This is how it might look like once it starts to load.
NOTE: Once Camtasia opens, it might prompt you to sign in or register.
If you don’t have a product key with you, you can always go for the trial version.
The drawback of using a trial is that there will be a nagging watermark right at the center of the videos that you will end up making.
I will show you how to sign in for a trial version.
Step 9: Click on Sign In to Start Trial.
Step 10: In the next screen that opens. Click on Create a new account.
Step 11: Enter your email id when prompted. Then the password.
Once done, click on Create Account.
Step 12: In the next screen, there might come a survey. Just click on the relevant information and then on Submit.
The next screen will show a message that the sign-in process has been completed. That you are free to use the trial version of the software.
Step 13: Simply close the browser.
Navigate back to Camtasia, where a default Camtasia Tour video might have already started playing.
You could easily pause or play using the spacebar key on your keyboard.
It is advisable to go through the video so that it helps you understand how videos get recorded on Camtasia.
