How to Get the Developer Menu in Word
We will see how to get the developer menu in Word in this tutorial. If you want to work with the Developer menu, Microsoft Word does not give you that section as a default. You have to add that yourself using Customize Ribbon.
Don’t you fret though, I have got you covered soldier!
Here are simple steps on how to get the developer menu in Word.
Steps on How to Get the Developer Menu in Word
The first step would be to, of course, open your Word. Doesn’t have to be a new one. This is more like a preferences thing, and hence any word document will do.
Step 1: Open your Word document
Step 2: Look for the customize Quick Access Toolbar, and click on the dropdown.
NOTE: For some, this could be a different option. You are basically looking for Customize Ribbon or a way to add more commands.
Step 3: Click on More Commands.
A dialog box for Word Options will open for adding more commands.
Step 4: Click on the Customize Button on the left sidebar.
Step 5: Under customize the ribbon section, scroll down till you see the Developer option unchecked.
Step 6: Check the checkbox against Developer, and then click on the Ok button.
The moment you click on Ok you will notice that you have got a Developer section at the top bar.
Click on it and explore!
Boom! As easy as that!
