A lot of youtube channels today have their logos on the bottom-right corner of their videos, and when you hold your mouse over them it turns into a subscribe button, that’s what a branding watermark logo is.

You will notice that some of these are clickable links that lets you subscribe to their channel instantly if you haven’t already subscribed to the channel. On the other hand, if you have, it simply shows you the number of subscribers the channel has.

Without wasting any further time, let’s get to it. This watermark logo tutorial assumes that you have a Youtube channel of your own, and that’s why you are here in the first place.
Here are the steps on how to add a branding watermark logo on your Youtube Channel:
Step 1: Open your Youtube Channel and navigate to your home page. I am going to open one of my own YT channels named “Straight From a Movie” to show you how it’s done.
Step 2: Click on Customize Channel.
Step 3: You might see Branding as the second option. Click on that.
Step 4: Scroll down and you will have that option here:

Step 5: This is where you have to select your logo. Simply click on Change as shown
Step 6: In the dialog box that opens next, select your logo. It is advisable to go for a transparent background png, that would look cool on your channel.
Step 7: Once the selection is done, click on Open.
Step 8: The next screen will that be of customization. Once you are ready click on done.
That’s it!
Remember based on when and where you want your logo to start showing, you can always specify the position on the timeline.
I personally prefer it on the entire video because sometimes the people don’t watch the whole thing, and it would be nice to give that subscribe option to them up early.
