Did you know that you can now earn money from streaming on Facebook? You heard that right! Now you can stream all day and fill your pockets. Isn’t that the dream?

Here are the eligibility requirements:

  • You need to either Create or switch to a Gaming Video Creator Page.
  • Your page must have at least 100 Followers
  • You must be streaming from an eligible country (Check out whether your country is eligible)
  • Gotta meet Facebook community standards and monetization eligibility standards
  • You must stream video gaming content for at least 4 hours in the last 14 days
  • Also, you must stream video gaming content on at least 2 days in the last 14 days

So how do you know whether you have already met all the above requirements? Read on to find out:

If you have a Facebook account and you are associated in any way with gaming, and have a Facebook business page for it, you must already have gotten the following Facebook notification on the top bar right above your Facebook Business Page cover pic.

All you have to do is click on it, as suggested in the image above. Once you click on it, you are navigated to a page which tells you whether you are eligible or not. It looks something like this:

Alternatively, in order to navigate to the above page you can simply navigate to the following URL:

https://www.facebook.com/gaming/streamer

As you can see in the first container of the screen called Level Up Program, my page is still ineligible as it fails to meet the following criteria:

  • Stream video gaming content for at least 4 hours in the last 14 days
  • Stream video gaming content on at least 2 days in the last 14 days

Once I fulfill these two, the Apply button will get highlighted and I will be able to monetize my streams.

At the top left corner is the name of your page. If you have many FB pages, you can select the page you wish to check the stream stats for.

If you wish to Go Live at any point you can simply click on Go Live button as shown in the image above.
